YouTube Fun
The Expendables
It doesn't make the film look any better but certainly this is a clever use of YouTube.

More World Cupness
Calendar System
I had to share this super cool world cup 2010 calendar. It's a really nice example of simple user experience graphic design and has been very well thought out and executed.

Drive The A-Team Van
YouTube meets Google
I found this online and was overwhelmed at how well it has been done. YouTube meets the 3D Google Earth plugin…meets…the A-Team!
Click on the 'Drive the Van' button at the bottom of the video and find yourself driving The A-Team van in major cities around the world, or even drop into a fast run down Mount Everest.
After a while of playing you realise that if you keep driving you would actually be able to just keep going around the world and it all becomes a little overwhelming. Give it five years and higher-res mapping, faster fiber broadband speeds and a nifty pair of internet glasses and you will find yourself driving a real car through any city or landscape in the world.

YouTube and BBC down
Happens to the biggest
Scarily, the YouTube website went down today for a few minutes, and we noticed that the BBC website went down a couple of days ago as well, which just goes to show that even the monsters of the net sometimes have bugs and server issues once in a while.
Note on the image below quite how bad the YouTube error message is. Not sure the developers would like to be referred to as 'Highly trained monkeys'? We also didn't cut off 'situat', that is how it displayed. :-)

Twitter Dangers
We were all thinking it but finally someone has realised it by producing a funny website about the dangers of Tweating your Geo Location....specifically regards noting exactly when you are NOT at home!!!
Great job guys. :-)

Baby Seagull Saved
So, you innocently head to the shop to buy the staff some ice cream on a hot sunny Friday, and end up saving a baby chick from being mown down on the M32. Fear not, the RSPCA are now taking care of him.
